Sring Deer By: Emma
Spring is like,
a baby dear,
a new life.
The fawn’s tall, scrawny
legs are the trees in blossom.
The mother doe’s love and
warmth towards the fawn
is the bright shining sun
that heats the earth.
Their odd bleats is really the wind whistling,
in the tall grass.
a baby dear,
a new life.
The fawn’s tall, scrawny
legs are the trees in blossom.
The mother doe’s love and
warmth towards the fawn
is the bright shining sun
that heats the earth.
Their odd bleats is really the wind whistling,
in the tall grass.
Poetry
When we did poetry we learned about stanzas, rhythm, free verse poetry, rhythe, lyric poetry, haikus, ballads (like Rocky Racoon), similes, metaphors, onomatopoeia, alliterations, hyperboles, idioms, personification, and infrencing. We take a lot of notes! These types of figurative language helped us make our peoms interesting to read! The peom above is a poem I wrote using similes and metaphors. Poetry is like a musical story! (Simile!)
